Since 2006 we’ve been selling digital music streams through a UK publisher. We were one of their 1st customers, invited to join. Nothing wrong with doing it this way, but having woken from my slumbers I wondered what the cheques were for, and how much cut they got and actually… what did I sign all that long ago when I didn’t care any more?
I had no idea what albums were where and who sold them. Just last week I thought it was time to take charge. We’ve ended the contract and started working directly with a new aggregator. The old 2006 versions disappear, and brand new spanking 2016 Sevcom releases are soon on your fancy ass smart phone!
There’s going to be a bit of a changeover period. But soon it all will be going direct into my drug float new projects! Stream with confidence knowing that .002c is going directly to the band! Exclamation!
