  • If you want to know what it was once like to live like a caveman, try Google Cardboard. The s/w is great but open-source goggles not. Using the magnetic switch on Cradboard is like trying to ‘pleasure’ the phone into responding. Orgasm is hard to achieve.
  • We have Lytro. The “lens” is so heavy they have balanced it by hanging a car off the back. Looks like a DeLorean had sex with a Atari800. I’ve taken my first incredibly terrible depth image and watched it in 3D. It’s horrible. I’m so proud.

  • So when you fire volts into people’s temporal lobes they visually recall fragments of their memory, but it includes ‘filmic’ elements such as 3rd person camera. In the past people used to report dreaming in greyscale, like TV and film. So I wonder if you were able to spark up somebody from before photography whether they would recall as a series of paintings? And before that, pages? It would be cool to think that the Collective Unconscious came from film, and that maybe J Jaynes was sort of right – Gods from carvings.

  • Saw Rogue One. Best bit was The Plans were on a VHS tape in a jukebox and there was a VHS player on the roof because that makes sense.
