Well I was just saying that we are cutting back on releases – then GOD looked down and said ‘no rest for you sunshine’ but probably in Aramaic.
Great news is that BUGHLT are back on the block and we have some crazed ideas brewing! In case you didn’t know BUGHLT break the usual music containers and come up with unexpected formats. They previously manufactured the acetate of Severed Heads’ Beautiful Arabic Surface and the Grooved Analogue CD of DONUT. But Nilamox and BUGHLT had a dare-you DOUBLE dare-you conversation and fingers crossed we have progress on at least two completely WTF ideas that come under the banner of Solar Woodroach. The Roach is going off.
One is a very special acetate. You will be surprised. I have high confidence in the other thing but will only announce if and when the logistics are in place. It’s a massive jump, technically and in concept. Both will be distributed from the USA.
The Woodroach album Her Human is a Poet in New York City is still on the way, but will not come before the ButchCrutch LP.
ButchCrutch’s Ebolaball is in late stages of mixing and mastering. There’s been a few revisions but we’re near to complete. It’s a fun Floridian electronic album with lots of funny old devices involved and me hollering over the top. The artwork is elaborate – the download will have a PDF sleeve (remember when SevCom introduced that idea back in 2003?) but trust me you’ll definitely want the multi-part physical sleeve mailed to you!
Sadly IKE EAR will no longer be part of this family.

Meanwhile, Mnemonics.
I hope I have clarified our position on releases and mnemonics – ‘different but both good’. In this category I’m agreeing with Medical Records about re-pressing two albums that are now in short supply. We also are looking at a Severed Heads album that’s been around a fair bit over the years but never as a proper luxury item with all the shit turned up full. If I say Pinecone, Pineapple, Pumpkin and fuss over Pantones … leave it at that.
I also have Living Museum in production for KlangGalerie. The cover will be the same but the sleeve notes need to be taken out the context of the live shows. You can also get it on YouTube, Spotify et al. (but NOT Apple because they can’t handle the same song title on two or more albums! Seriously.)

I stumbled upon 7 Perversions on Pachelbel’s Canon and find it to be a pretty interesting exploration. So far Decomposition in D is my favorite to actually listen to, but I’m still working through the album. I’d love to hear about the inspiration and production behind it.
I will go into it for you, partly because I really should go into it for everyone and try to be a bit more helpful and explicit in my ramblings…
