Barbara Island was first released in 2006 as a second CD included with Under Gail Succubus. It represents a live performance in support of a Sydney art school which was supposed be based on a tiki lounge theme (it was cold and it rained). The second disc Return to Barbara Island in 2010 was produced from a live show in support of Rainforest Rescue. These circumstances introduced a conceptual place filled with palm tress and radios (not too dissimilar to other themes around at the time). Noting that four more years had passed another disc Barbara Channel 3 appeared in 2014 and was reproduced in part in The Wire magazine in the UK. The final release Barbara UFOr in 2018 finished off the four year/four album set and celebrates the life of local UFO watcher Alan Philp who predicted UFOs would arrive that year.
