Maybe other people are super geniuses or something but it’s unbelievable the amount of trouble that goes getting a game to run – let alone be enjoyable…
Spent all of today trying to get a tape recorder on a trolley to be both triggerable (turn on and play) and pushable. The two are mutually exclusive because the same collision object in Unity is a button -OR- an invisible physical form. Got it working with a hand written script only for Unity to throw up endless compiler errors and … erk.
Anyway – a video of playing with the very few recorders in the world so far. The video looks HORRIBLE – partly because I’ve run into Mac VS PC gamma level problems.
The real thing looks better than this.
Tested in this play through – sounds and triggers and pushing recorders around on trolleys. This level is now just over 6Mb.
